We are people first, hoteliers second. The wellbeing of our guests, team members and community are our number one priority today and every day.
With that in mind we wanted to update you on the actions we have taken in response to COVID-19 and assure you we are making every possible effort to keep you informed and provide the level of service that you require to confidently travel, manage bookings and plan around these unprecedented circumstances.
Meal Relief for Frontline Workers
As our healthcare workers spend long hours treating patients with Covid19, not seeing their families and grabbing food on the go, we’re humbled to join our partners at Rosa Rosa to show our love and support the best way we know how – a hearty, wholesome meal.
Famed Portland Chef Vitaly Paley, who is a longtime partner of Provenance Hotels with restaurants that include Imperial, The Crown, Headwaters & Paley’s Place, reopened operations at Rosa Rosa, rehiring a small culinary team to support a meal delivery initiative, funded by The Gordon D. Sondland and Katherine J. Durant Foundation.
Chef Paley and Rosa Rosa Chef de Cuisine Matthew Hobbes have been busy planning daily menus of nutritious entrees for medical professionals treating COVID-19 patients at both St. Vincent Hospital and Providence Portland Medical Center. Over the next 60 days, the teams at Rosa Rosa and Provenance will safely hand deliver 150 meals every day – reaching 7,000 in total.
Flexible Cancellation Policies
We know that flexibility is what you need right now. So, we are waiving cancellation fees for existing and new bookings through July 31, 2020.
If you made a reservation through a travel agent or online booking platform (e.g. Booking.com, Expedia) please contact them directly – we have advised these companies of our cancellation policy and you should refer to their terms and conditions.
For bookings beyond July 31, 2020 we want to remind you of the flexibility already built into our rates and packages that allow you to adjust your travel plans. Our Flexible Rate allows you to change or cancel their reservation one to three days prior to arrival. Changing the date on any reservations through our Flexible Rate may result in different pricing, but there is no fee for making changes. To inquire about any booking contact the hotel or our reservations team.

Groups and Meetings Bookings
We will work with you to manage any changes needed on a case by case basis. Our hotels are actively working to address the needs of each group, including moving event dates to another time. Please contact the hotel sales team directly to review the options for your event.
We continue to monitor the situation and will adjust this policy as needed.
During Your Stay
Our number one priority is your health, safety and well-being. All our hotels adhere to comprehensive health and safety procedures. In addition, we have supplemented these with additional COVID-19 specific cleanliness protocols. We are closely monitoring updates by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding COVID-19 and following CDC guidelines and the direction of local health authorities to ensure the actions we take are suitable for the evolving situation.
